Have a Shining Star Face!

Summer is the time when less is best from clothing to makeup. With the heat at and all time high you want to go as minimal as possible during those summer days.

Here are three must knows about getting glam in sizzling weather (and for hot stage lighting, too):

1. Moisturize lightly especially in areas where skin tends to be at its oiliest. Add a tiny bit of mattifying cream to those areas.
This will help keep the shine down and trap some of the sweat. I recommend Smashbox PhotoFinish

2. If you want to wear foundation try a tinted moisturizer. This will cover without makeup looking like its sitting on your skin.
Try MAC Face and Body.

3. Keep Blot Powder and Blotting Papers in your purse. These are great for touch-up throughout the evening!
You can pick up the blotting papers at any drug store that sells beauty products and I LOVE the MAC Blot Powder which comes in 4 different shades and goes on translucent.
